Oh wow, we called on the wonderful entrepreneurial Croft 36 in Northton on the Isle of Harris. Since the last time I reported on them they have expanded their business….it’s really thriving. The smell of fresh bread cooking in the kitchen was to die for, outside they have Croft 36 on the side of their delivery vehicle, and above the shed door, just to prove they are really on the map now with their exceptional food, is one of the official Brown tourist signs. Very impressive. These little brown signs, throughout the UK, according to a little brown signs blog that I’ve found, encompass a huge variety of interesting places to visit, people to meet, things to do and sights to see, seamlessly incorporating all our history, geography, culture and heritage into a little appreciated and massively underestimated tourist network.
They have their own website now, so please take a look, and visit them in Northton if you go to the Hebrides.
